Schedules for Skills and Competency test for selected EPS workers published (With notice and registration form)

KATHMANDU, July 3: The EPS Korea department, Gwarkho has published the schedule of the skills and competency test (second phase) for the 12,009 South Korea bound workers who passed the EPS-TOPIK (Korean language) proficiency test. The results were published on June 28.

According to the EPS Korea department, the registration for the competency test will open from July 5 to July 14 (Ashad 20 to Ashad 29).

The aspirants will have to submit copies original documents of EPS Certificate of career, certificate of training course completion, academic Background and copy of the national certificate or the original of confirmation document while registering from competency test. The original documents should be submitted during the interview.

The venue and date of skill test will be announced on August 14 (Sharawan 29). The test will take place between August 21 to September 4 (Bhadra 4 to Bhadra 18).

(It is to be noted that skill test is compulsory for all the passed individuals while competency test is optional. Competency test is for those who have the academic qualification and work experience.)

The results will be published on September 30.

Of the total 12,009 passed (9,133 candidates for the manufacturing sector and 2,876 for the agriculture and livestock sector), about 4,700 will be recruited for the manufacturing sector and 2000 will be in selected for the agriculture sector, according to the notice.

A total of 92,376 workers had registered for the EPS-TOPIK (Korean language) test. Of them, only 84,308 had attended the test.
