PM Dahal’s China visit successful: PM’s Foreign Advisor Adhikari

KATHMANDU, March 28: Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Advisor, Dr. Rishi Raj Adhikari has said that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda”s China visit has been successful.

Speaking during an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal today, he said, “PM Dahal’s China visit has been fruitful and productive. A high level discussion took place between PM Dahal and Chinese President Xi Jinping.”

Dr Adhikari added, “In the meeting,that took place for about 45 minutes, PM Dahal also showed interest from Nepali side in the One Belt One Road (OBOR) project and Kerung-Lubmini Railway as well.”

He also shared that Nepal government was serious about the 10-points deal made with Chinese government during CPN-UML Chair KP Oli’s tenure as Prime Minister.

“Bilateral home works are being done to implement the understanding,” he added, “PM Dahal has also invited President Xi in a courtesy visit to China.”

He furthered, “China has welcomed the local level election announcement, and even offered 9 million Yuan for holding local poll. It proves that China is positive about the current government.”

Prime Minister Dahal is currently on a six-day visit to China. PM Dahal is returning tomorrow.
