Paras’ condition critical but stable; medicos successful in stopping bleeding from stomach

KATHMANDU: Bangkok-based Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital has said that the doctors involved in treatment of Nepal’s ex-crown prince Paras Shah were successful in stopping the bleeding from the stomach of Shah but his health condition remains critical but stable.

Issuing a statement today, the hospital said, “The doctors were successful in stopping the bleeding from the stomach. The medicines needed to maintain the blood pressure have also been reduced today. His medical condition remains critical but is stable.”

Cardiologist Sayan Cheepudomwit has signed the press statement. Shah has been undergoing treatment at the hospital after a cardiac arrest on last Tuesday.
