72 more test positive, Nepal’s COVID-19 cases climb to 675

KATHMANDU, May 25: Nepal reported 72 more infections in nine districts, taking the total COVID-19 cases to 675.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Health and Population, three males (aged 30, 31, 45) from Nagarain municipality-3 of Dhanusha district; three males (aged 19, 20, 23) from Shivaraj municipality-4,5,6 of Kapilvastu district; three males aged (27, 41, 37) from Tokha municipality 3,6 and Budhanilkantha municipality-3 of Kathmandu district; 23 males males (aged 25, 32) from Kalaiya municipality and Kotwali-1 and (aged 18, 18, 18, 18, 19, 19, 20, 20, 20, 24, 24, 25, 25, 25, 26, 30, 31, 36, 36, 40, 50) of Gadimai municipality of Bara district; 26 males (aged 18, 19, 22, 27, 30, 31, 33, 35, 35, 35, 35, 36, 36, 36, 38, 40, 40, 40, 40, 42, 43, 48, 48, 48, 49, 50, 51, 53) from Rajpur Farhadawa-2,6,8 and Ishanath-2 of Rautahat district; two males (aged 22, 34) of Dakneshwari of Saptari district; one male (aged 25) from Bansgadhi-8 of Bardiya district; four males (aged 16, 23, 23, 24) of Dudhuwa-2 and Rapti Sonari-7 of Banke district; 21 males; and six males (aged 15, 18, 27, 29, 24, 25) and a female (aged 25) from Narayan municipality and Dungeghar and Gurans of Dailakhe district have tested positive for the virus.
