57 more infections reported as Nepal’s COVID-19 cases near 200

KATHMANDU, May 12: Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 57 more infections on Tuesday–the highest number of cases reported in a single day, as Nepal’s total COVID-19 cases climbed to 191.

According to a press release issued by Assistant Spokesperson at the ministry Dr. Sameer Kumar Adhikari, all 57 patients are male. Of them, eight cases are from Kapilvastu, nine are from Rupendahi, 39 from Parsa and one from Bara.

“Their health condition is normal,” the ministry stated.
