Democracy will not be used as milk ticket: PM Oli

MORANG, Aug 22: Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli has said the government would not use democracy as meal ticket.

In his address to a gathering of party cadres of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) at Pathari on Wednesday, the party chair promised to work actively and with dedications to make the government, party and democracy alive. “A journey towards prosperity has already started, it is not going to be stopped, and support and cooperation from all quarters are essential to this end.”

Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal; Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Barshaman Pun; and Province 1 Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai put their views on the occasion. RSS
