19-gun salute offered to Pakistani PM Abbasi


KATHMANDU, March 5: A 19-gun salute was offered in honor of visiting Prime of Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi this afternoon.

The salute was offered to the Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in his honor after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli welcomed him at the VVIP lounge of the Sainik Manch, Tundikhel.

On the occasion, the Pakistani PM inspected the parade. Likewise, the national anthems of both the countries were played on the occasion.

During the program, the Pakistani PM sought introduction of the Ministers, chiefs of the constitutional bodies, high-level officials of the Government of Nepal and Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri.

Meanwhile, PM Oli and his Pakistani counterpart Abbasi are holding formal talks regarding the issues of mutual interests and bilateral ties.

After the formal meeting, PM Oli is hosting a banquet reception in honor of his Pakistani counterpart Abbasi. RSS
