Civil service employee's representatives call on PM Deuba

KATHMANDU, June 22: A delegation from the different civil service employee’s association today have called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at latter’s office Singh Durbar and has put forth their demands.

The delegation has demanded for continuing the provision of the existing civil service act’s clause no 53 which has the provision of trade union, while finalizing the national civil service act.

The representatives from the Nepal Civil Service Employee’s Organization, Kathmandu, Civil Service Employee’s Union, Kathmandu, and Nepal National Civil Service Employee’s Organization have submitted the memorandum to the PM Deuba by demanding to prioritize the seniority of the employees while adjusting them in local levels.

On the occasion, PM Deuba urged the civil servants to perform the works keeping the peoples’ interest in the centre as employees had a major role in implementing the budget. Prime Minister Deuba further assured to address the genuine demands put forth by the employees. RSS
