Educational institutions hail policy and programme
Kathmandu, May 11: National Campaign for Education (NCE) has welcomed the education related arrangements specified in the government policy and programme.
The NCE has hailed the government announcement of making up to secondary education free and compulsory while laying emphasis on promoting vocational, technical and skill-based education from school level.
The government policy to provide free of cost education to the children of Dalit and marginalized communities at all levels and dissemination of educational materials focusing on the children who could not come to schools ude to various reasons is a progressive move, the NCE stated.
