‘Reconstruction campaign to begin from Jan 16’
Kathmandu, Jan 8: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy Top Bahadur Raymajhi, has said that dalit and marginalized communities were badly affected by the April 25 earthquake.
In a seminar organized by the Samata Foundation here today, DPM Rayamajhi said that these communities were even deprived of getting reliefs provided by governmental and non-governmental organizations.He further added that reconstruction campaign would resume from January 16. The Foundation chair Padam Sundas stressed on increasing the investment to uplift these marginalized communities adding that his organization was working for the betterment of them.
On the occasion, Min Bishwakarma, Jitu Gautam, Kamala Pariyar urged the organizations working in the sector to support the marginalized communities.
