Fire destroys property worth one million rupees

Jhapa, Dec 24: Property worth one million rupees was gutted by a fire at the house of Dik Bahadur Thapa of Shani Arjun Municipality-2 in the district this morning.

The fire was ignited due to short circuit while using motor to pump in water. The fire had destroyed the house and property worth that amount.

Locals and police joined hands to put out the fire with the help of a fire engine brought from Birtamod Municipality. It is reported that there was no human casualties. RSS
