KATHMANDU: Rashtriya Prajatantra Party Nepal’s Chairman Kamal Thapa has claimed that the monarchy will be reinstated in Nepal after the Constituent Assembly elections.

Speaking at an interaction program organized by the Reporters Club Nepal on Sunday, Thapa said that reinstating Monarchy is necessary to repel foreign interventions in national affairs.

He said that his party will hold comprehensive discussions with political parties and stakeholders after the CA elections to establish constitutional monarchy and democracy in the nation.

Thapa said that his party will bag two third majority in the direct elections and at least majority in the proportional election system.

He argued that people were already frustrated with the major political parties and will support his party in the upcoming elections.
